The Association was formed as one way to bring together all stakeholders in the production and export of fresh fruits and vegetables so that they deal with EU compliance challenges for export of fresh produce from Uganda.

The goal of this organization is to promote production and export of fresh fruits and vegetables from Uganda, through sustainable production and marketing, thus reducing rural poverty and hunger.  The organization has a total of 100 registered Exporting companies along with their small holder out growers who are growing vegetables in the different export villages across the country.
